SAT
SAT Overview
What is SAT?
The SAT is a standardized test essential for students preparing for college admissions in the United States, administered by the College Board. Recognized worldwide, it serves as a key evaluation factor, especially for students aiming to enter top universities in the U.S.
Starting from 2023, the SAT has been revamped into a digital format and consists of two sections: Reading and Writing, and Math. The total test duration is approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes. Each section is scored out of 800 points, with a total possible score of 1600. In the digital format, calculators are allowed for all math questions.
As a globally recognized exam, the SAT provides an objective measure of academic ability beyond school grades, helping students stand out in competitive college applications.
At GL Academy, we offer strategic SAT preparation classes designed specifically for the latest digital SAT format. Our experienced instructors deliver systematic and intensive training to help students maximize their scores in both the Reading & Writing and Math sections.
In addition, we conduct realistic SAT mock exams that closely mimic the actual testing environment. These practice tests help students build confidence, improve time management, and become fully prepared for test day.
